It looks brighter in the US says Mr. Buttler

US Charge d’Affairs in Helsinki, Finland, Mr. Michael Buttler (in the middle) discussed during
FAC1932 breakfast meeting on June 12th actual issues related to the USA. He pointed out that President
Obama is making many openings to the world and emphasize all of us to listen carefully to the message of
this great speaker. US will guarantee the security of democratic Europe also in the future. Mr. Buttler thinks highly of the Finnish defense forces on the air and the sea. Economically the US is making a progress already and Mr. Buttler relates to the Washington Post as a firm believer that the lowest point of this economic cycle has been passed already. More control will follow for the financial markets. The US government is not going to be a long term owner of banks or automobile companies. Mr. Buttler urges Finns to do more business with the USA, which still is the biggest market and has 25% of world’s manufacturing. The USA has given the growth and wealth for the rest of the world, and is not going to disappear from the stage. We all certainly want to believe this and are supporting private, cultural, and business relationships between our two countries. Thank you Mr. Buttler!
